Padel in Canggu: the Padang Linjong padel cluster
Padel has taken over Canggu, and the north-east end of Jalan Padang Linjong now has two brand-new clubs side by side, with more courts a few minutes away. Here is where to play and how the clubs compare.
Padel on Padang Linjong
In 2026 two padel clubs opened within a few doors of each other at the Jalan Raya Canggu end of Padang Linjong, next to the new Reload Sanctuary gym. Together with the clubs just off the street, it is now one of the easiest places in Bali to find a court.
The Sphere Airdome Padel Club
- What: billed as Bali's first air-dome padel club. All courts are indoors under a climate-controlled dome, which means no midday heat, no glare and no rain delays.
- Courts: 6, including an Arena court.
- Extras: shop, food and drinks, changing rooms and lockers, Wi-Fi, free parking.
- Hours: daily 08:00–22:00.
- Opened: September 2026.

TAP Club Canggu
- What: a covered club with high ceilings and good airflow.
- Courts: 3 doubles courts plus a dedicated singles court, which is rare in Bali.
- Extras: AI ball tracking on every court, a cold plunge, and a bar serving coffee, coconuts and beer on tap.
- Opened: spring 2026.

Tips for playing padel in Canggu
- Book through Playtomic. Most Canggu clubs take bookings there, and you can join open matches at your level if you are travelling solo.
- Play early, late or indoors. Between 11:00 and 15:00 outdoor courts get very hot. The Sphere's dome solves this.
- Bring grip and water. Humidity makes rackets slippery.
- Combine with recovery. Reload Sanctuary's ice baths and sauna are on the same stretch of road.
Staying close to the courts
Our two villas, Villa Guerrero and Villa Diosa, are on Jalan Padang Linjong, so the padel clubs are a short scooter ride or walk away.
